Preparations are underway for the 10th Edition of the Kaptagat Integrated Conservation Programme (KICP), scheduled for 11 July 2026 at the Penon Forest Block in Keiyo South. During a briefing with Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, KICP patron Dr. Chris Kiptoo highlighted the programme’s decade-long achievements in restoring degraded landscapes, promoting environmental stewardship and improving livelihoods. The milestone event, to be graced by President William Samoei Ruto, will celebrate ten years of conservation and community empowerment within the vital Kaptagat Forest Ecosystem, one of Kenya’s key water towers.
