Our Vision for a Better Future
To achieve the vision and address key priorities, specific goals have been set.
To rehabilitate degraded forest areas and riparian zones within Kaptagat to restore catchments, protect water springs, and increase ecosystem services.
To create and raise public awareness and inculcate a culture of tree growing in the population and beyond the landscape region.
To mobilise stakeholders and resources to participate in national tree growing campaigns towards raising the national tree cover by planting 15 billion trees.
To enhance governance of Community Forest Associations (CFAs) to be actively involved in co-management and conservation programs in the forest reserves.
