The Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) is a key corporate partner of the Kaptagat Integrated Conservation Programme (KICP), supporting large-scale forest restoration and environmental conservation in the Kaptagat ecosystem. Through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, KPC collaborates with KICP to fund tree planting activities, rehabilitate degraded forest areas, and support sustainable community development across forest blocks such as Kessup, Sabor, Penon, Kipkabus, and Kaptagat. KPC also contributes to the distribution of fruit tree seedlings to promote agroforestry and enhance livelihoods for local farmers. By aligning with KICP’s vision and Kenya’s national goal of planting 15 billion trees by 2032, KPC plays a vital role in restoring key water catchments, strengthening biodiversity, and advancing climate resilience in the Cherangany–Elgeyo Hills Water Tower, one of the country’s most critical ecosystems.
