Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki has commended the Kaptagat Integrated Conservation Programme (KICP) for its outstanding contribution to restoring the Kaptagat Forest through community-led conservation. Speaking during the programme’s 10th anniversary celebrations, he praised the partnership between local communities, government, and development partners in protecting one of Kenya’s most important water towers while creating sustainable livelihoods through climate-smart initiatives.
