Within the Kaptagat forest landscape, post-harvest loss is a big problem affecting farmers because of increasing pest infestation.
To help address this problem, Mazingira Na Misitu through support from the #UKPACT #GreeningKaptagat project with lead role by WWF Kenya supported 615 farmers with 1,500 hermetic bags and 48 aluminium silos.
On Monday this week at Penon Forest station and in the company of CEO WWF Kenya Mr Mohammed Awer of WWF Kenya among other dignitaries, we handed over the said hermetic bags and aluminium silos.
